Who: Phoebe Kendall and OPEN
What: Getting coffee
When: Early afternoon
Where: Random coffee shop

Phoebe's second day in Colligo was slightly less strange than her first day. So far, at least. Adam was here, and even though she hadn't seen him in person yet, it was so comforting to have her boyfriend here. Those PDA things that they were all apparently given upon arriving here must have been helping him so much. It seemed like it was easier for him to communicate with it rather than trying to speak. But she fully intended to help him practice and get him more mobile and able to speak more quickly. Not that she was impatient with him at all, because she wasn't, but she remembered how frustrated he got when it took him awhile to do something.

Deciding to do a little exploring, Phoebe left the room that she was assigned (how cool was that, getting such a nice room rent-free?) and took a walk down the sidewalk. Her long, black hair was loose and the hem of her long brown skirt swished around her favorite pair of combat boots. She hadn't been able to leave her goth look entirely behind yet.

She hadn't gone far when the smell of coffee wafted to her nose from the open door of a shop. She looked up and realized there was a cute little coffee shop across the street. She really, really could use a cup. Smiling to herself, Phoebe walked across the street and into the shop, making her way up toward the counter.

"An iced coffee, please? With plenty of extra sugar." The barista quickly made her drink and handed it to her. Phoebe took a sip of the cold coffee and smiled. "Mmm, that's good."

Even though being a werewolf was definitely more than a little bit suckish, Leah would never get tired of being able to consume three times her mass in food without gaining any weight. The fact that she could consume comfort food like she could breathe was the only reason she'd survived the first few weeks. Still, though it could be a trying experience getting two million and whatever calories a day, especially when living on a meager salary like hers. Starbucks wasn't really a money saver, but she couldn't resist their pumpkin scones. They were her weak spot.

"Tall latte and nine pumpkin scones," She'd ordered nonchalantly, ignoring the weird looks the barista gave her as she payed. As it turned out, though, carrying nine scones and a tall latte wasn't really all that easy, and when she picked up her drink and turned around she managed to run head on into somebody who was shorter than she was (then again, who wasn't?) and dropped her baked goods all over the floor, spilling the hot coffee in the process too.

"Shit, sorry," She apologized to the gothy looking girl, flailing somewhat uselessly. "I'm so sorry, I'm an idiot. Are you okay?"

Phoebe was enthralled with her coffee drink to notice that she was in someone else's way. She was beginning to make her way to a table to have a seat, maybe send a text to Adam or something, when another woman turned around and plowed right into her. The mess was pretty epic. Phoebe tried to keep a hold on her own coffee, but it was no use. Half of it ended up splashed on her blouse and the floor. She gasped, pressing her free hand to her mouth.

"Oh! Oh, I'm sorry! It was totally my fault. I was in the way." She bit her lip apologetically at the woman, the very tall woman, and immediately bent down to help retrieve the scones. Hopefully they weren't ruined.

"I should learn to pay more attention," she offered as another apology, picking one of the scones up and inspecting it. This one looked okay at least.

"Uhm, yeah, sure," Leah said, suddenly feeling awkward. She didn't really like when people heaped the blame on themselves because she didn't like to do that even though the only appropriate response was really 'oh no it was my fault', and she had already said that, so it'd be stupid to say it again. She typically just let them role with it. "If you wash that right now the stain might come out." She settled for, picking up the scones. Five second rule, her brain shouted at her. She looked up at the girl again, analyzing her face. She thought she'd seen her post on the network before, even though she'd never talked to her.

"You're Morgana, right? I'm Leah." She said, offering her a hand to shake even though the girl was holding her scones and soaked in coffee.

Phoebe glanced down at her blouse, wiping her hand down it as if that would actually help something. At least it wasn't one of her favorites or anything. She shrugged and looked back at the other woman. "I'll toss it in the washer when I get back to my room. It's really not so bad." Thank goodness for Spray 'N Wash.

She picked up another scone. It looked alright too. Then she realized that Leah thought that she was this other woman, Morgana, as well. How weird was it to have a twin walking around? This must be what Adam felt like, practically being a triplet now that he was here. Phoebe smiled and shook Leah's hand after shifting all the scones to her other hand.

"Actually, my name is Phoebe," she said with a smile. "Apparently this woman Morgana and I look just alike, but I've never actually met her in person. It's weird." She shrugged, not really knowing how else to explain it.
