When it came to waking up early, Haru also had a difficulty sleeping in these days. Granted, it had less to do with an early morning work out routine and more to do with the unfamiliar surroundings. It had been months since he'd arrived, but the place still felt off and he doubted that was going to change anytime so, much to his irritation. While Rin had been out for a run, Haru's morning had been much less productive. He'd sat in the tub, letting the water wash over him while he stared at the other end and wished it was bigger. He didn't have to work that day, which was unfortunate. He did still plan to go to the pool, but Saturday mornings meant classes and he knew from experience that they wouldn't let him in the pool while the classes were being taught. Personally, he thought that was ridiculous. It wasn't like they needed the whole pool for that.
Either way, he didn't particularly feel like being lectured that day, so finally pulling himself out of the tub he moved to make his usual breakfast of fried mackerel, he dressed and headed out. He still had a couple hours to kill before they'd let him use the pool in a non-official capacity. With that in mind, he headed to the mall. He could use another swim suit, he supposed. It never hurt to have a new one.
Having pulled on a deep blue hoodie, he pulled the hood up against the chilly wind, before making the short walk to the mall. Leaving the hood up, he wandered through the mall, trying to find the path of least resistance that wouldn't leave him being jostled around by errant shoppers. He was just passing the food court when a familiar voice caught his attention. Turning toward the sound, his eyes scanned the light crowd till they landed on a familiar head of red hair.
It didn't even cross his mind that Rin might be busy. He immediately headed in that direction, skirting around the groups of people in their own lines for food and beverages. Rin had moved to stand a the opposite end of the counter as he waited for whatever it was he'd ordered. Coming up behind him, he moved to stand to Rin's right. "Hi," he greeted in his usual quiet fashion.
