Olivia had almost been late for meeting Debbie because of Grant giving her such a hard time this morning. Finally she had told Grant to spend time with his father who was rarely home anymore. She hated feeling lonely all the time and thankfully she at least had some friends around town to actually talk to. Debbie was more of a daughter then friend so she really appreciated that a lot right now.
She remembered when Debbie was little especially since she grew up next door thanks to Peyton's family taking her in. She always liked talking to her and answering any questions the girl might have.. then when Debbie's mother died she stepped up. She wanted to be a mother figure towards Debbie if she that's what Debbie had wanted.
Walking into the diner she waved hello to her coworkers and friends before she spotted Debbie sitting in a booth. "Hello Debbie sorry if I'm late. Grant was giving me a hard time today." She smiled and slid into the booth across from her, she wanted Debbie to know that she was still here for her with whatever she needed. "How are things?" she asked pushing a piece of hair behind her ear that fell from her ponytail.
