Grant grinned, wide and toothy with two front teeth missing. “Awesome!,” he nearly shouted, making other customers look at them. He picked up the shirt and handed it to Peyton, who draped it over his arm.
Peyton went around with Grant, helping him pick at various red shirts with cartoon characters and some plain ones as he listened to Olivia answer his question. “I suppose? That doesn't sound good, Liv. Isn't married life supposed to be great or some shit?,” he whispered so Grant couldn't hear, the kid wasn't even paying attention though. “Talk to him about it. I'm sure he'd try and make time for you. Isn't that what marriage is about? Communication?”
