Peyton raised his eyebrow, a little confused. “Maybe start giving him melatonin?,” he suggested, whispering too, so the kid wouldn't hear. “It's possible he could have A.D.H.D if you want to get him checked for it. For example, his brain might not be … snapping into place when it comes to sleep because his mind is hyper. If you understand what I'm saying.”
Grant smiled. “Yay! Thanks, mommy,” he said as he took her hand and started pulling her toward the clothes. Peyton figured he was ready to shop.
Peyton snickered. He had a potty mouth when he wasn't around kids, it wasn't something he could help. His mom hadn't cussed and neither had his dad, but when he got to middle school and then highschool, he picked up the language from other kids.
Grant hugged her back, running to a rack of children shirts with name brand cartoons and kids movies. “Can I get a red transformers shirt? It's got optimus prime on it!”
Peyton gave a little smile at how energetic Grant was. “How are you and the hubby, Liv?,” he asked. He always wondered what their marriage was like. He had been surprised when she decided to marry the guy, especially since he was from the other church. Which people didn't tend to like and he wasn't even sure if Liv believed in whatever the church believed in.
