Talented Mediwitch Jones Making Drastic Strides on Healing Spell for Werewolf Attack Victims - by Barnabas Cuffe In light of recent devastating werewolf attacks, new hope for those ravaged by the creatures comes from St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries. Young Mediwitch Hestia Jones is currently making progress on an effective new spell which proves to heal werewolf-inflicted wounds, once a mere hope for those unfortunate enough to suffer injuries at their hands. Such treatment comes at no better a time than now, especially following the most recent attack in which a member of the Werewolf Capture Unit was injured and treated at the hospital. There has been one fatality, however names have not yet been made public. Jones has been working on the spell since she just recently finished training. At only twenty years of age, this proves to be a feat in itself. The recent werewolf attack hit home with Jones, as her personal friend on the WCU was the unfortunate victim now being treated for wounds. Her idea and inspiration for her hard work came from the compassion and injustice at seeing such innocent victims turned into the monster at no fault of their own. The treatment still remains experimental, as such a revolutionary new treatment proves to be dangerous in the first few stages, with the vital trial and error. "I expect that it will become an accepted treatment, rather than experimental, in the next six months or so," Mediwitch Jones says. When asked whether or not she is concerned about possible werewolf retaliation towards her compassionate hard work, Jones remains courageous and just. Instead of fearing criticism at the most violent, treacherous level, she focuses on what inspired her to strive towards progress on the spell in the first place. In fact, she shows a saintly empathy even towards the creatures themselves. "I don't think what they do is right, but if they were hurt, I would heal them too, despite what others might think or want. I don't discriminate that way," Hestia states. "Anyone who comes before me who needs to be healed gets my attention. Isn't that how it should be?" |
