Parker was impressed. "You really know your hammers," she commented, putting the right one away and pocketing the left. Glancing to screwdrivers next, she picked one up and mimicked jabbing at someone with it. With another glance, she tossed it into her basket.
"If I have to," she answered, looking back to Sam. "I like to be prepared." Looking past him, she noticed something on the rack just to the left that she wanted. She stepped closer, so close she was brushing flush up against him, and snagged the bundle of wires. Backing up a few steps, she placed them in her basket... and pocketed his wallet and gun as she turned away from him.
"Time to go," she announced. Moving toward the door, she paused at the doorway and looked back at him. "See you."
Then Parker stepped outside and calmly turned to the right. Walking past the building, she made her way down the alley between it and the next. A harness was dangling there and she quickly strapped into it. Grabbing the rope she'd hung earlier, she began walking her way up the side of the building until she was on the roof. And just like that, she was gone.
