"Some of them are." she said, agreeing. Actually, she was positive some people were. Things she read, and heard suggested it. But she didn't know what they were, and really doubted they were as different as she was. When she'd first came to Earth she was very open about using her powers. But now she was about keeping them quiet. Maybe she needed to unlearn that habit here.
She tilted her head up when he stepped infront of her, leaning in just a little closer. He was nothing like the last guy she'd been interested in. He was so much more in her opinion. Her bright blue eyes locked on his, half thinking this place maybe wasn't so bad, since she got to meet Warren.
Kara was considering just kissing him when the guilt hit her. She hadn't felt this way with Jimmy, but he had no secret to hide. Warren had been honest with her. Sighing, her shoulders slumped, rocking back on her heals. "Alright, I...can't keep this up." she said, crossing her arms over her chest. "You've been nothing but honest with me. So...I need to be honest with you." Even if this was going to make turn and walk away. There was only so much 'freak' a person could handle. And to humans, aliens were pretty freakish, even if she didn't see it that way.
"I'm not like you." she admitted. "I'm not human." she said softly, looking down at the ground. "I'm not even from this planet....or this galaxy." she continued, looking completely guilty. Her shoulders slouched slightly, mentally kicking herself. "So...if you think I'm freak, or something. I'll understand." Sort of, because in a sense, the human race was all alien to her.
