Arthur stood where he and Lorena had split from their embrace, and watched her curiously as she returned to the sink. He wasn't sure what to do with her, really. He had never had much of a chance to be a father and really, the same could be said as his role of husband, so he didn't know how you were supposed to comfort someone close to you. When he did it, he did it by ear.
He stepped up to Lorena and he slid his arms around her waist from his position behind her, hugging her. "You can talk to me, Lorena," he said quietly. "I understand what you're going through."
