Clarke did not want to do this. She didn't know how to do this with him. What was it about Bellamy that was so different? Maybe it was because things between them were tense and rocky right now. They were practically on opposite sides. But even through that, they had a lot in common. They were both carrying a lot of guilt. Exact details were still hazy but they'd probably commiserated and had way too much to drink and one thing lead to another.
She didn't want to guess how it happened. There were flashes of them here and there in her head, and it was coming back to her. Last night there had been nothing that she wanted more, but she couldn't tell him that. Besides they had both had impaired judgment. Neither of them could have been thinking clearly when...it happened. She was embarrassed and hungover and the sooner this chat was over the better.
"I think it's pretty obvious." She said, the words making her head pound even more. Could someone just turn off the sun for a little while? She definitely hadn't meant for this to happen, and she knew he hadn't either. She couldn't punish him for it, because they'd both played equal parts. They could brood over it, and she was quite sure they would. But that was best done separately.
"I should probably go." She said, the fact not yet occurring to her that they were in her place. It was just what she did, she'd left that grounder girl and slipped out quietly. She might have done the same with Lexa, but there was just something different about her too. She knew she'd see Lexa again, and now she knew she'd see Bellamy again. But the responses to each were so different, because whenever she saw him now...she'd flashback to this. And surely this entire thing had been a mistake. He thought so too, didn't he?
