city calm down

Yeees, so it's been long overdue that I iconned a Filipino. See, I tried. But I couldn't bear the horrible icon quality from horrible image quality. It made me sad. BUT HEY, here's Sam Milby who was in the first the Pinoy Big Brother (lulz) and is now apparently a Big Deal in ze Mutherland. One of my cousins kept blabbing how wonderful Sam Milby was, &c. but I never really bothered to check him out because I am apathetic that way. :|

He's rather pretty, I have to say. Anyway, I still had to scour the seedy depths of the interwebs for these photos I used here. It was very disheartening. FAN RESOURCE, CAN HAS?

Why hello, my most awkward icon post! Awkward because... uh, I was a pretty rabid fangirl of Evermore a couple of years ago. You know how it is: some degree of stalking concerts, autographs and the lot. Before I ramble on any longer, Peter was my favourite because he used to (or still does?) throw around his keyboard while they played. He was pretty damn skilled.

If you do want to hear what they're like, I recommend Dreams, which is their first album. It's lovely. If you're more inclined to pop then Real Life would be better... yes, Dreams and Real Life *facepalm*.

He was so adorable in Les Chansons D'Amour. Half the time, I was busy eyeing Louis, of course. But Gregoire was equally adorable. I had a bit of trouble with the lighting, which was blue not to mention RL stuff eating my time, so it took me a while to get through the caps. All icons from the movie, of course. AND, all safe for work albeit some are a bit suggestive, heh.

He's so pretty, it's kind of ridiculous. Anyway, Son Ho Young is apparently a well-known K-pop singer, famous for being in a group called g.o.d. (this amused me greatly). Uh, what else. He's recently released a solo record and he's... really pretty. Bugger me if I know what else, here have a Wiki and a MySpace page.

I was looking around for more Koreans to icon and I happened across this young man over here. His stage name is Dennis Oh but he's more commonly known as Dennis O'Neil. YES, HE IS KOREAN. SRSLY. Here, have a Wikipedia entry. Man, he's so pretty. I suggest you have a look at the first banner I added to this set. Adorable.

You know how casting agents pick normally hot young men to play nerdy geebs? And they always think that putting thick, black glasses on said hot young man, comb his hair in front of his face, and dress him in ridiculous outfits immediately makes said hot young man... a nerd? Well, you know how it doesn't work at all. Dammit, Robert, we can see through to your hotness even if you hide behind all those things. My copy of The Bad Mother's Handbook was iffy so I got iffy caps so pardon the graininess in some of the icons.

How could I not have iconned him? Let's be serious here. I capped Thumbsucker myself, hee. I'm also capping a couple more things so those are going to be coming up soon. Anyway, yes, Lou. ♥

He was amazing in Sweeney Todd. Need I say more? The icons are from both caps from the movie and appearances so you hopefully won't get sick of the de-saturated movie stills. I've probably mentioned this to a couple of people but I'm going to repeat it here anyway, just for lulz. Jamie is quickly eclipsing Robert Pattinson for the "I Arrive at Appearances Looking Cracked Up Award". Seriously.

I saw him in one of the pictures in Im Soo Jeong's gallery and I thought he was hot I thought he should be iconed. Ahem. Apparently, he's kind of a Big Deal. People know him. His apartment smells of leather-bound books and rich mahogany. Also, he's probably one of the slashiest celebrities I've ever iconed. Rain is a singer/dancer/model/actor. To add to that, in 2006, he was named as one of Time's "100 Most Influential People Who Shape Our World" and, in 2007, he made it into People's list of the world's prettiest people. See what I meant about Rain being a Big Deal? Yeah.

This set is for Claire who wanted icons of Tom Sturridge as Nigel lolNigel in Like Minds. Iconning him just makes me want to icon Eddie Redmayne as well. THEY'RE LIKE A PAIR, DAMMIT. Alright, most of the icons were from screencaps of the movie but I searched around and found some behind the scenes caps as well so I added that in. Claire says he'll make an excellent Tom Riddle, Jr. PB and I agree. He's so awesomely creepy in this movie.

Well, hello there. This set is sort of midway between a request and an urge to icon Jamie. BECAUSE HOW CAN YOU NOT? Look at him. *gibbers* Alright, on to business. Angus, my friends, is one half of the folk acoustic duo called... Angus and Julia Stone. Ahem. They're from Australia, so I claim their awesome as my own just because. You can read more about them at Wikipedia, which has a pathetically small profile on them.
