Oliver canted his head, listening attentively as she explained it. Really, he just wanted to be sure that opening his accounts wouldn't invite gremlins, internet or real, into his father's finances. Even though the thought of his father having to deal with actual gremlins crawling out of his laptop was highly entertaining, Oliver wasn't as mean-spirited as that.
No, he just wanted to check which accounts he still had access to and siphon off enough to build himself a comfortable nest egg of his own. "Hmm." He eventually said, noncommittally. "Obviously, I don't wish for you to control the banks for me." He said, trying to be reassuring. "But your post about the gremlins had me wondering just how secure my transactions would be, once I started shifting things around." There was a lot of money out there that he had access to, basically, and he didn't want to lose it to gremlins. "Still, to be extra safe, I'll look into finding a nearby branch, as difficult as that might be in Thailand."
