It always felt a little strange having her skin touched. She'd spent most of her life in wolf form, fighting to survive in the wild all alone and mainly frightened. She probably felt more comfortable like that than in her human form..but it was rare she was ever touched as a wolf. She'd been on her own for those twenty two years. Rarely going to towns or cities incase more werewolf hunters were out there.
But it never felt more bizarre than when Oded touched her. His finger's didn't feel any different, but she had keen eyesight and an incredible sense of smell. Of course she noticed the flash of red that illuminated his vision. Smelt the sulfur and brimstone as if it was permeating her own nose. What was this creature? Some kind of seer, perhaps? Just what had she agreed to?
There was the slightest hint of teeth in the red wolf's mouth as she growled slightly. Just as a warning. She felt as though she'd been tricked. A handsome face and a kind disposition made to trap her. Even his friendly words didn't fall as sweetly on her ears as they did before. She knew she couldn't be too upset though, she had agreed to it. But she'd just thought he wanted to pet her, she had no idea what he'd just done. She wanted to know though. And there was really only one way of that happening.
The wolf hopped off his little porch and disappeared off into the treeline behind one of the wagons. There was a rustling noise. A growl that seemed almost too deep for the woman to make. The sound of bones snapping and breaking, remodeling, reforming. The whole process was quick, less than a minute. And another passed as the woman slid into a dress from the suitcase hidden back there.
When she returned it was as a woman who looked more in her early twenties, holding tight to a beaten up old suitcase. It would have been hard to tell it was the same creature, had it not been for that bright red hair. Her eyes having gone from the golden wolf hue to a seemingly just as unnatural blue-silver. Not the small wolf, but a woman slightly above average height with soft curves outlined in white lace.
"What did you do to me?" The woman questioned, her voice naturally breathy after the change as she tried to fill her human lungs. She didn't sound mad, she sounded confused. And lucky for him that confusion had wiped away her fear for a moment, she approached him with a confidence she didn't usually possess.
