If he had any doubt that he was in the company of a shapeshifter, that doubt was dispelled by the wolf's head tilt and Oded chuckled. A shy shapeshifter. That was certainly a new experience for him and that only intrigued him further. What would it take to draw out the other side? He associated the shy behavior with naivety and that was a far bigger draw.
What delicious, delectable thing could he tempt this one with? He fell into the song easily enough and watched the creature as it made small movements, clearly enjoying the music. It wasn't unusual for him to play his guitar, but Oded did not indulge in singing this often. He wrapped up the song and then fell into playing a tune that he'd learned from his travels through Romania while he spoke to the shapeshifter.
The creature made a movement that covered its muzzle and that drew a hearty laugh from Oded. "Yes, I know, but I can hardly be faulted for trying, now can I?" he chuckled, arching an eyebrow at the shapeshifter. He continued to play without further comment, strumming along until the tune's finish. Pouring more scotch into his glass, Oded let the guitar rest on his lap while he took a drink. "The cirque is not large enough for a newcomer to be anonymous for long, Red. I am Oded, trapeze artist. If I play another song, will you come closer?"
