The wolf's head tilted to the side slightly like a confused pup. Was he not aware that she had different vocal cords in this form? That she couldn't actually speak in her natural voice? She could growl, yip and howl..But she doubted that he'd understand that. Maybe he was just talking to fill up the silence. All she could really do was answer yes/no questions like this. She did have a suitcase hidden close by, but she wasn't quite ready to turn back into a woman.
She was glad he decided to carry on playing rather than ask her to speak again. And between his choice in song and his question it became obvious that he knew she was a shifter. She had no problem with that, she wasn't trying to hide it. There were plenty of her kind here, she'd smelled them on her way through the village. His choice of song was actually amusing. Something she really loved, despite the irony of it.
Bad moon rising had came out in the year of her birth and she'd taken it as a sign that it should always be her theme tune. Everyone had that right? A song that either described them perfectly or touched their soul. For her, bad moon rising made her want to dance, even in this form her little paw started tapping slightly to the beat and tail swished happily behind her.
But when he asked for her name again the wolf decided she had to give him some indication that speaking wasn't really an option. Dropping her head down low and giving him a little murmur as her paw dropped down over her muzzle. Almost looking like a wolf giving a facepalm. But she wasn't against him trying to think up a nickname. She'd let him know if she didn't like it.
