It wasn't long after he spoke that the little wolf edged forward and he stayed still, casually strumming the guitar as more and more of his strange companion came out from under his chair. Oded didn't have a great deal of experience seeing a wolf up close and personal, but this one seemed slightly smaller, though its fur was a striking combination for a four legged animal. It moved into what could only be called an invitation to play, but Oded stayed put, only moving to drink more of the scotch.
"What shall I play for you now, hmm? If I do, will you tell me your name?" he asked, watching as the creature hopped up onto the chair and made itself comfortable. He was quite certain that this was a new member of the cirque, though it couldn't be a performer as all those shows were finished for the evening. It would take some time to consider all the different attractions where a werewolf could be of service to The Management, but he hoped that the human side would produce itself before that happened.
"Hmm, another slow song or perhaps something a little faster? A little more appropriate?" Oded asked, teasing. His fingers moved faster on the strings, beginning a faster tempo and, after a moment, he began singing. "I see a bad moon a-rising. I see trouble on the way. I see earthquakes and lightnin'. I see bad times today. Don't go 'round tonight, tt's bound to take your life. There's a bad moon on the rise... I hear hurricanes a-blowing. I know the end is coming soon. I fear rivers over flowing. I hear the voice of rage and ruin."
"Don't go 'round tonight. It's bound to take your life. There's a bad moon on the rise. I hope you got your things together. I hope you are quit prepared to die. Look's like we're in for nasty weather. One eye is taken for an eye. Oh don't go 'round tonight... It's bound to take your life. There's a bad moon on the rise. There's a bad moon on the rise," he finished, with a vigorous strumming. Oded began another song, but only playing the tune on the guitar, a softer melody. "If you don't give me a name, I'll have to think of something to call you, little wolf," he told her.
