The young woman couldn't help but smile at his reassuring words, her eyes softening. She hoped that what he said was true. She really had no evidence either way. He could be lying, he could be telling the truth. But the redhead seemed to always see the good in people so she was leaning towards the latter.
Her fingers slid gently from him, perhaps brushing against his abs slightly but certainly not intentionally. "Thank you," she let out a little breath, still not pulling away from his touch. It actually felt nice to have some 'human' contact. "Remember, I know your secret too...If you tell mine, I'll let the world know of your love of ironic songs.." She tried to joke about his playing of bad moon rising. The slightest hint of mischief in her eyes. It was clear under all those layers of shyness and fear that there was a playful woman dying to get out. It would just take a little while.
