There were a handful of perks with being a vampire and often, Booker found the best of these was that he didn't need to breathe. Not really. He made a small noise of disappointment when Kit pulled away from their kiss but it was immediately cut off at the feeling of fangs poking at his lip. He honestly couldn't remember the last time that had happened when they weren't his own. He definitely wasn't going to deny he enjoyed the feeling, though. It would be an obvious lie, especially when he opened his eyes.
"A better meal could still be had." It was a bold line but he wasn't about to take it back. The hand at Kit's side smoothed up before going to rest lightly against his hip.
