She did not stay around long enough to see if Dante needed help. It would have been pointless to even try, knowing that he would simply deny it just as he had when she offered to help him stand. And anyway, he was a fast learner. She brushed by him, gliding onto the ice with ease.
She learned to iceskate when she was a child, as it appealed to her the same way that dance did. Though not to the same extent, she kept with it growing up. It had been a few years now since she skated, but the moment the blade touched the frozen surface, it was like her skill had never gone dormant. She moved with grace and finesse, weaving so effortlessly through the crowd that one would never know how long it had been.
After a couple warm up laps around the arena, Violeta spotted Dante and circled around him once before spinning to face him, falling into sync with his glides as she skated backwards, and she grinned. "Having fun yet?"
