At the mention of chocolates, Kit visibly perked up. He had a surprisingly sweet tooth, considering the austere times he'd grown up in, and would never turn down an opportunity to indulge despite not being able to fully enjoy the taste of human food any longer. Yet the sweets that Ariadna, a witch, had brought him seemed to be special in ways that mundane food wasn't. That much was clear as he carefully opened the box, the smell of blood mixed with the chocolate hitting his nose and causing him to let out a small sound of mingled surprise and hunger.
"If they taste as good as they look and smell," Kit began, plucking a square from the box and bringing it up to his mouth. "I think I might have to propose marriage here and now." Then, holding Ariadna's gaze with a flirtatious grin, the vampire bit into the chocolate. Kit almost couldn't stop himself from moaning as the blood, miraculously still fresh tasting, hit his tongue and slipped easily down his throat as it melted with the chocolate. In a few short moments, the singular sweet had been polished off, with Kit practically beaming at the witch across from him.
"Amazing," he said, his tone admiring and brimming with awe. "You've got a gift."
