Kennet tilted his head slightly, giving her a look that said he would not be using her first name. Humans, whether gifted, witch, or not were always referred to by their surnames. Few ever were given the relaxed nature of referring to them by their first names.
His icy eyes gave off the feeling of peering start into her soul. Every last secret she hid within herself lay bare under his gaze and the Ringmaster had no reaction in his expression except for boredom. "I do. I will start where I always start. The rules you must follow while you are under contract with the Cirque:" He did not bother to let her speak otherwise before jumping right into the conversation he had spoken so many times.
"There are many creatures amongst us with many abilities that may not settle right with someone new, but be assured that our number one rule here is that no one is to hurt other employees beyond the ability to do their job. "Human patrons are fed on instead, as that is natural for many creatures here. Do not interfere with feedings unless they are causing unwanted attention, and then you must go to Security. Let them deal with it rather than trying to handle it yourself and potentially getting chewed on. While they are not to kill you, you may get injured coming between someone and their meal." Kennet paused, looking her over again as if to further read her story. "Though it seems you already know how to handle that."
He waved it off though and continued. "Shifters or Vampires are not to turn humans, whether patron or employee, without express permission. Not all humans know what being turned will be like, nor do they have the 'right stuff' to survive or thrive afterwards. So we keep a direct eye on that. "You have a trailer just for you, but if you wish to move into someone else's trailer you must ask first. I will show you it once we are done here or you may find it yourself. Do not come to me for your needs regarding items inside the home, I am not a personal shopper nor am I here for any other reason than providing rules, regulations, job assignments and punishments. That said, I am the end of all discussions and decisions, as I am the only one who communicates with Management. If you have a problem, feel free to send me a message on our network or find me on the grounds. Is this understood?"
