She had slipped effortlessly around a stall to pursue him as he rounded the corner, but had stopped, visibly annoyed that he had seemingly vanished into thin air. She knew this was not the case, of course... if he had, she would have still been able to find him, after all.
The voice that sounded from behind her caused her to start as she whirled to confront him, a sharp, breathless laugh gusting from her lips. It seemed she needed to make no introductions... and that she was not nearly as stealthy has she had thought herself to be. Grinning up at him, she marveled at him now that he was so close to her, unabashed in her open curiosity. "Hello, little Djinn," was her response, playful and unfettered once she had composed herself. A whisper of air against the back of his neck was of her own creation, teasing the light strands that made him stand out even more here.
Clasping her fingers at the small of her back, she inclined herself toward him, mystified and flirtatious. "And here I thought myself the only participant in our little game. I'll admit, I thought you a pleasant thing to chase." A light, silvery laugh erupted from her then. "Would you appease some selfish curiosity, fire creature? My sisters think you wicked." There was a mischievousness in her words as she said this, almost as though she was daring him to prove them wrong or, in a more delightful turn of events, prove them right. "I come to see for myself what compels such rumors."
