It didn't matter what meal it was, Eric was going to gorge himself. That was what he was used to after all, down in the deep. A lot of the creatures were small, just barely enough for sustenance, but when they took down something big, they gorged and could go for days afterward without food. So he ate, taking quick, large bites while she was still warm, swallowing eagerly.
"Meat is meat." He told his new friend. "I not care what I eat. Take the parts you like, I will take the rest." Aside from being true, it would ingratiate himself to Lucas. Maybe this would strike up a relationship between them. Maybe Lucas would bring him his leavings. Or maybe it would just be a one-off thing. Eric didn't care, there was food, he was eating, and he gnawed at the human's cheek, watching as Lucas went for what was inside the ribs.
