Moving from place to place wasn't just something that the Circus did. It was something that he and others like him did when they lived for as long as he had. So an answer such as hers and his own, did not bother him. It was more than clear from the accent of her voice, exactly where she hailed from. Anyone who had lived in Scotland, no matter the time, would know a home spun accent such as their own.
Her being there, in front of him, made him secretly wish that the Cirque's next stop would be in Scotland. Or at least one of the stops in the near future. He longed for home, even if what he truly longed for wouldn't be there. At least not in the way that he wished. Now it was just a memory reduced to ashes and dust. Though he couldn't help but to wonder if the spirit still lingered.
Shaking the thoughts from his mind, Duncan turned his attention back to the woman before him. Nodding at her statement, he agreed. "Aye... It turns the guts a bit, does it not?" He paused for a moment, thinking that the statement could be taken the wrong way. "Not badly, ye see... Just make ye a bit homesick and pleased within the same breath."
He smiled a little and reached a hand carefully out towards her. "Duncan." He bowed, introducing himself formally.
