Wrapping his arms around his knees, Gabe watched as Iggy's hand went through his shoulder. There was something solid about the sensation, along with the typical chill of a spirit passing through living flesh, though Gabe suspected that was more to do with his own gifts than Iggy's determination.
With a sympathetic look, Gabe shuffled a little closer. "Try again," he said encouragingly. "Think about solid flesh, about bones and muscle." Holding an arm out, Gabe flexed his fingers and balled his fist to show the spirit how it worked. He had never encountered an entity who had the ability to become solid as Iggy could, and so he was just a clueless as how to achieve a permanent solution as his friend. No matter how long it took, however, Gabe would continue to try and help. That was what friends did for one another.
