Who: Gabriel and Abraham What: Medium meets spirit; both are pleasantly surprised When: November 8th, late morning Where: Hall of Mirrors Warnings: N/A
It had been an interesting few weeks for Gabriel. When he had gotten visions of the mysterious circus, he never could have imagined what it actually contained. Sure, he had always believed in the supernatural. He could communicate with spirits and see glimpses of the future, after all. Ghosts were one thing; vampires, shifters, and all manner of things in between were quite different. Rather than be afraid of the things that most people's nightmares were made of, Gabriel had taken the news in his stride and tried his best to be as accommodating and understanding as possible. Although many of the occupants of the Cirque weren't human, Gabriel tried to treat them with the same respect that he extended to everyone else who crossed his path in life.
Still relatively new, there were many places within the grounds that Gabriel had yet to explore. With the Wild Hunt having kept him indoors for most of his first week, he was only now getting the chance to familiarise himself with his new home. As he had done since arriving, he woke after a few hours of rest and set out into the morning light to see what he could find. It was after several minutes of walking, passing familiar tents and stalls, that Gabriel finally came across something he hadn't seen before; the sign outside proclaimed it as 'The Hall of Mirrors'.
Upon entering, it appeared to be exactly what the sign had said. The walls were covered in various mirrors of many shapes and sizes, the light from an unknown source glinting off their surfaces. Gabriel stood transfixed for a moment, eyes wide at the sheer number of frames hanging all around him, before he finally urged himself to move. Looking into the nearest one, he grinned at the sight of himself standing on a clifftop, a phantom breeze blowing the hair and clothes of his reflection as he brought his hands up and tilted his head from side to side.
Moving onto the next one, Gabriel was a little disappointed to see only himself as he was right then; hair slightly mussed from sleep and not tidied, a slight frown on his face, and...a pair of startling blue eyes looking right at him from over his shoulder.
