While it wasn't typically in Kit's nature to be generous, he did have his moments. It hadn't crossed his mind when he had found a human for Booker to feed upon that his actions could be considered unusual to the other vampire. Then again, Kit had always done whatever he wanted without the need to explain to himself or others the reasoning behind it. It was purely instinctual and oftentimes without thoughtful consideration.
Shaking the other vampire's hand, Kit nodded at the information given. He could respect the desire to go by a diminutive, given that he hadn't gone by Christopher - his own given name - since he was very small. Kit was Kit, and Booker was Booker. "Luckily it's not a competition," he said with a grin, breaking the connection between them and returning his hand to his pocket. "It was the least I could do on such short notice, especially since I usually prefer a bit more candlelight and wine when treating handsome strangers to dinner."
