Booker licked his lips free of any remaining blood, a small smile on his lips as he felt himself settle back to normal. Mostly. He would be even better if he'd taken more but he didn't want to hurt the man. Anymore and he wouldn't have been able to walk away like that. At this point, something sweet would be enough to bring him back to feeling better. That, along with Kit's gift, he wouldn't remember either of them - not the man that had lured him away from the lights of the cirque, nor the man that had bitten him. Even if he did, more likely than not, he wouldn't say a word and write it off as a dream. Booker had used that excuse more than once when telling someone not to remember.
By the time the other vampire came close to him again, the Illusionist was flexing his fingers, little blots of color playing out in front of him. His illusions were mostly under control and the small smile stayed on his lips. "Yes, thank you." He probably could have gone out and done just what Kit had for him but with how hungry he had been, he didn't know what would have happened. He had tucked himself into a quiet corner next to the tent and that had probably been for the best. He was still questioning his control when he'd bitten the Russian man.
"I am unsure of how to thank you." Blue eyes went up from his hand to the others face, sincerity written across it for once. He wasn't one for shows of emotion but this wasn't just another simple situation.
