Booker
When Booker woke, he noticed a handful of things. He was curled up in his bed with the blanket actually on him, for once. There was snow on the little sky light directly above
him. It smelled like... gingerbread? Oh, yes. And Blair was singing again. He'd pushed himself up in his bed but when that hit him, he fell back onto it with a small thud, sighing. Of course she was. She was awake, after all. For a moment, he thought about curling back into his bed and falling back asleep but he had to get up. She would probably climb up to wake him soon. The festivities would start soon and she'd want to be distracted. Magic only went so far. It would keep them in, sure, but would it block the noise? He really didn't know. "Blair? What are you doing?"
Blair
Blair had awoken later than she normally would have and after a few minutes of freaking out as to where she was, she had finally gotten out of bed. The previous night had been the first moving day and though, she had found it interesting, there was a part of her that wondered if they were safe. She knew that if she'd said anything to Trent or anyone else, then they would try to reassure her. However, it wasn't reassurance that she needed. She needed to not only experience but also needed to feel it for herself. The fact that Trent was with her was helping her since she had felt most safe with him. Though there was still that thought in the back of her mind that wondered.
She had checked on the vampire after she had finished her so-called morning routine before making some coffee and looking out at the snow covered area they were in. She had to admit that the Cirque had one big cool factor about it and that was moving day. Although it was possible that she only thought that since it was the first thing she had experienced since they had joined. She knew, however, that her mind could change after this hunt was over. Blair had chosen to stay locked in their home and it was her master that had decided to do the same. Which she was glad about. She knew that magic was keeping them in and that meals would somehow get to them, but she didn't know if anything else would or wouldn't happen. And that kind of scared her.
Some time had gone by after she'd finished her coffee, well pot of coffee, and had made her bed when she had decided to make some easy ginger cookies. She had informed those on those on the night they joined that one thing she would like stocked in their place was ingredients for her to make cookies and cupcakes since it was something she often did. Her telling them that was the first thing she had found odd since a part of her felt that they had already known that about her. However, it didn't bother her, no, she had figured that it was just something new that she didn't know about the supernatural world. She knew it would be a lie to say that she didn't know things because she herself had only actually been a part of this world since the night Trent had told her about it six months ago.
While she mixed up the cookie dough, she hummed to herself. The songs seemed to be more focused on cold or snow which she had figured was being caused by the weather outside. However, it wasn't until the dough was all mixed and the first batch was in the oven that her humming had turned into full-on singing. "Strike for love and strike for fear. See the beauty sharp and sheer." Her words had paused for a moment when she had thought she'd heard a thud sound, her eyes looking towards Booker's room before she shrugged and went back to singing. "Split the ice apart, and break..." She had briefly stopped singing once again when she heard the vampire's voice in her head. A smile forming on her lips as she responded. "Baking cookies. Are you hungry?" She knew that the man wouldn't eat the cookies, but she figured that it didn't hurt to ask him if he was.
Booker
Was he hungry? She had to be kidding. Had he had his eyes open, he probably would have rolled them hard enough to hurt himself. She was just so... silly. Booker knew she did it on purpose but at the same time, he couldn't help the smile that slipped over his lips, ghost or not. If anyone saw him, they wouldn't have been able to tell it was even there. He'd gotten goo at that kind of thing - expression without it showing. If he laughed at her shenanigans, it would only make it worse. Would make her do it on purpose to try to cheer him up or whatever it was she wanted to do. Maybe it was really as simple as making him smile or laugh.
As he lay there for a moment, the older man realized she wasn't singing anymore, as if she were waiting for an answer. Blair might or might not but he decided to give one anyway. "I will be down in a moment. I need to get dressed." To save any embarrassment, he'd put in curtains that shielded their rooms when they were in there. His matched his room - dark and gray. Her's were... less so. They matched her room, however, so he didn't comment. Blair liked them.
Instead of his usual suit and slicked back hair, he put on a pair of slacks and a t-shirt. A hand was pulled through his hair, letting it slip past his fingers and lay where it wanted. It would be fluffy but he was supposed to be relaxing. Last but not least, his glasses which sat on the same place across the bridge of his nose. It took him a total of about fifteen minuets. Once down the ladder, he stood in the kitchen, towering in the small space. "Is there actual blood in that fridge?" He... probably should have thought of that before he agreed to be locked in for the duration of the full moon. Feeding himself. He didn't want to kill but he could have just... stuffed himself on several people and let whoever have the rest. It wouldn't have been his kill at that point.
