Maddy had mostly stuck to Issac's side while the Hunt was going on. The more monstrous side of the Cirque had come out to play, and even though Security was making sure the employees weren't harmed, she was still very wary. So she was keeping to the shadows, staying out of the way, and occasionally turning people towards the waiting teeth of a passing predator. It was, after all, good practice.
She was coming down a darkened path when she saw the creature. Huge and hulking, even crouched down, Maddy stopped in her tracks. It took her mind a few minutes to calm down and process the sight in front of her, to realize what it was. Wendigo. Right. What was his name? She couldn't recall.
A woman stumbled by, covered in blood and whimpering. Maddy caught her arm, looking into her terrified eyes. "Shhh," she whispered, reaching out with her mind. "Shhh. It'll be over soon. You need to go over there, alright?" She pointed in the direction of the monster. "It'll be over soon." The woman took a deep, shuddering breath and nodded, her frame visibly relaxing. She shuffled toward him, as if in a dream, and Maddy sagged against a nearby wall.
