"Is there a time when mini cheesecakes wouldn't be peachy?" Alex had been cuddled a bit, her body pressed affectionately up against his, and then she had slipped away, distracted by the energy of having everyone there together. It was a different feel, a hum in a new octave so to speak, and Nyah added something even more interesting to the mix. Such interesting new energy, such an enjoyable new darkness. It pulled at Elia's senses, intriguing.
Still, she didn't want to come on too strong to the new girl. Getting too close to get a taste of her magic might have been a bit much. Instead, she moved back over to sit on the blanket with Lila, shoulder to shoulder with the other witch in order to help organize things and quietly oooo-and-ahhh over their different tastes in ritual items. "You'll want the bones, won't you? I'll be finished with him after the blood. And if none of you mind, I'm going to hold a bit back for some scrying. It works so much better than water for me, for what are probably obvious reasons. Gray, darling, you don't have to watch the gory parts, but don't stray too far? I never get to see you as it is. Look, I'll send a few new friends over to help distract you."
As promised, three more of the inky beasties materialized, forming out of wisps of darkness, and scampered over to play about Gray's feet. One was clearly female, with a shadowy bow atop her head. The others were a little more vague. One was quite chubby and toddled along at an alarming pace for his 'weight', and one had batlike wings. All had excessive teeth and long claws.
