Lila didn't often pull out all the stops when it came to rituals, but for the Hunt she'd reached deep into her gear stash. One had to always have the right tools for the situation at hand, of course. She was all in black; tailored silk and chiffon and heels that she managed to walk in without sinking into unpaved ground. Over her blouse was a body harness, delicate chains linking ribs and vertebrae, and atop blonde hair left loose and curling was a crown of dried lavender woven around more silver chain and delicate bones. She'd indulged herself a little on the way to the Cauldron and she was nearly glowing with the energy she'd gained.
Her own ritual tools were packed neatly in the satchel she carried - an athame carved of a single bone, wickedly sharp and wrapped in dark cord around the hilt, a delicately wrought ivory chalice, herbs, powdered bones, candles and, "Wine," she announced to the dark witch, reaching earshot in time to hear Elia's comment to her little monster. "And blood." She reached into her bag, the bone bracelet she always wore clicking softly as she rummaged around, withdrawing two bottles. One was clearly wine, a Bordeaux nearly older than she was and labeled in handwritten calligraphy. The other bottle was similarly shaped, but wrapped in black leather that still had a little bit of a wet shine around the neck. Matching red streaks on Lila's fingertips hinted at its freshness. "I brought both."
"Boys," she greeted Alex and Gray as she approached the Cauldron, toeing off her heels. Ariadna's look got an appreciative smile and a cheeky, "Sugar."
