Her head moved slightly against his shoulder that it was resting on. She knew she could say something easily to him, but she decided to try and focus on calming her heart. Though she wasn't sure if such a try would actually work. She figured that its racing might not be a bother to him, but that didn't mean that it wasn't bothering her. It was probably silly or even stupid for her to let in bother her. However, it seemed to be almost influencing her fear. Or at least she thought it was. Her fear was actually because of the events as well as the images her imagination had come up with when she'd heard the noises back in the dead end. Her eyes tightened some as she told herself to do think of the happiest things. It was a small line from one of her favorite movies that she often told herself when things had gotten pretty bad. And she knew it would be a lie if she said what was happening wasn't on the pretty bad side.
It was then that her mind wondered if there was a big chance they could end up soon meeting their deaths. Think of happy things. Her hand gripping his clothes tightened as she told herself the words again. She didn't repeat them though since her head soon was filled with hearing the vampire's voice. Her eyes loosening some, but not yet opening them. "The fact that you have to ask makes me was to pinch you, Mr. Booker." A faint smile crossed her lips before quickly vanishing. "Can I open my eyes yet?" She wanted to see him, see if any worry was on his young face. Though part of her wondered if she should see it or if she herself should look at him with the worry and fear she knew that was in her eyes.
