Her eyes stayed close even after she had felt that they were moving, she knew that she might be able to open them sometime soon, but she figured that it might be best to wait for him to give the okay. It wasn't that she was afraid to see what she could only imagine as a bloody mess, alright maybe she was somewhat afraid. However, she knew deep down that it wasn't the fear that was keeping her from opening her eyes, no, it was more because of the trust she had for the vampire. Maybe it was that trust that had made her listen so easily to his command. No, that was probably only some of it. Just like her racing heart was now not only because of the running they had done. She knew that he'd be able to hear it and that he'd now that the main thing causing it to race was due to the fear that was still coursing through her.
Her arms tightened slightly around his neck as her head rested against him, she knew that the blood on him was being transferred to her own clothes. She wasn't worried about that though. Instead, she felt herself worry about if he was hurt. However, she knew now was not the time to check him for wounds, not when there was a chance that more could come after them. This whole thing was new to her, but it seemed her life had been filled with new things as well as more joy since the man had come into her life. Maybe that was partly why she didn't want him out of it or why she had oddly felt some happiness that he had decided to take her with him.
One of her hands gripped on to some of his clothes on his back as her arms tightened more. "Does it involve more running?" She had almost opened her eyes to look at him, but she'd had stopped herself. She guessed that they were away from the dead end though she knew that if she looked at him now, then the worry she had would kick in more and she'd end up asking him to stop so she could look him over.
