Why funny? It was then that Kit realised Mona was still unaware of what he was. He had been part of the Cirque for so long that he had forgotten that not everyone could instantly tell. "The opposite," he said, his tone a little more hesitant than it had been. After the events of the previous night, he didn't want to cause her any more distress. That being said, she had proven how brave and strong she could be. "If I went out on a sunny day, I'd be a lot more burned than this. Dead crispy would be a better description, emphasis on the dead."
