She laughed again at his assessment of her current state; her once-black dress was now, as he said entirely smattered with blue dust, some of which had spattered up to coat her throat and chin. "Oh yes, this an excellent look for me. Well if it matters, I'm glad you decided to come." She made her way toward her own fork and chose to head in the direction his voice was coming from. "Always the road less traveled," was her airy response, followed quickly by a small shriek and more laughter as she was startled half to death by the image of a spirit launching itself towards her with a ghoulish cry. It evaporated around her harmlessly, but she still had to catch her breath.
At the end of this pathway the aisle seemed to curve to the left and she followed along it, now fully expecting something to jump out at her from every corner. "This is an excellent way to develop some paranoia," she called. "How are you faring on your end?" Just then the wall of shrubbery to her right opened up, allowing her a glimpse into an adjacent pathway. She stuck her hand through and poked him as he walked past.
