The momentary flickered forced his arms to let go. He would have respected her choice of not returning the hug, but once she formed again the reciprocation was appreciated. Zane smirked when she let go to look around his humble surroundings. "People have always been awful, but as a person we can try to make a difference," he stated, running his fingers along the old woods of the side table. Zane's etiquette dictated to not sit until the guest did so. "I am sure she would enjoy meeting you, were she not tired from her night out."
When Siri finally found her seat, Zane sat across from her. The space in the trailer was minimal in the section, but Zane preferred smaller spaces than some of the more spacious trailers. Nora's room took up most of the space in the trailer as to give her somewhere private to be. "I have been travelling mostly. My sire found me a few years ago..." He paused, his hand grasping the returned rosary. "So I have been finding my way."
Brushing off the obvious anguish of the games his sire always played, Zane gave Siri a soft smile. "And you? Everyone treating your tree with the care it deserves?"
