Christian/Maddy/Elia/Open
Over the centuries Christian had gotten good at feigning sympathy and maybe even empathy for humans and their delicacies. He didn't have many true feelings and most of them were muted. He had felt things strongly when he'd first been tossed on earth but over the centuries his emotions had muted to a certain degree. He could understand that Maddy had some reserve about murder, unlike him and his kind who murdered on a whim.
He smiled when Elia appeared next to them. He nodded at her assessment about how the loss of life would get easier with time. "There are a lot of monsters out there that like to create these scenes."
He looked at Elia, his black eyes serious in the dark of the Lagoon area. "Very recent. 30 minutes maybe 40." He inhaled deeply. "I smell violence and death but no magic." And by smell he was simplifying what he truly could sense. The demon could smell, taste, and absorb the dark lingering energies.
