Christian/Maddy/Elia/Open
How interesting. A dead body, and no Kennet on-scene to take charge or give orders? Well, perhaps she should say an unexpected dead body. No one expected him to take notice of the darker habits of his employees, but Elia would have expected him present at a scene like this one. Floating chunks of body, bloody water, the dark imprint of violence and death all around... definitely Ringmaster territory, in her experience.
Maybe he did slip away sometimes. Maybe she had just missed it, and allowed herself to be sold on his omniscient act.
While she considered this particularly interesting development, Elia lifted a hand to gently pat Maddy's shoulder. "Ah, well. You get used to them with enough time. Although they aren't like this very often at all. An interesting break in the norm, wouldn't you say?"
Her eyes ticked toward Christian, one dark brow lifting. "Recent, yes? There's no magical residue. This seems to have been done manually."
