He frowned at her in the dim light. The expression was mildly perplexed, not angry. She seemed to think she did belong here, so she was either a visitor with an attitude, or another new employee. By the inhuman smell of her, he guessed the latter. With all of the odd new smells that assaulted his senses in this place, he couldn't quite distinguish what she was exactly, only that as he grew accustomed to the smell, he was less and less interested in making a meal of her. He was both relieved and disappointed.
"It's not a common place for people to have a sit-down," he replied, tilting his head towards the forward exit. "I was just closing up, come on."
"New hire?" She was just a kid, or so it looked in this lighting. He held a hand down to help her off the floor, then froze and retracted it a few inches. "You're not poisonous or something, are you?" It seemed a ridiculous question to ask. He couldn't think of a supernatural thing that would be poisonous to the touch, but then again, he hadn't considered that bees could make hives out of people, either, or that Demons could work security jobs.
