For Conor, it was an evening pretty much like any other. He'd fed Oighear before he left to go to the Garden, and while she didn't follow him tonight, that was fine. She had her own mind, and if she wanted to find him later, he didn't doubt that she would.
He managed to get through the night without incident, and on the way back to his trailer, he stopped by one of the food stalls, sweet-talking the older woman working there into giving him a few of the pretzels that hadn't sold. They'd make a great snack while he wound down. Tearing a piece off of one, he continued down the pathways into the Village, following the familiar turns until he reached his trailer.
He headed inside and flipped on the lights, but froze when he saw the girl sitting on his bed. "Uh, miss," he said, very confused. "I think you might be in the wrong trailer."
