"I would have eventually gotten up. That pull from the Cirque is too annoying to sleep through." Ashok did not like the idea of an object being able to tug at his will like that. Sure, his family had sent him to go there, but the Cirque did not need to be so insistent about it.
"We have gotten little enough sleep as it is. Would you not just sleep in without the noise?" He asked, gesturing to the bed.
Seeing her eyes linger on the spot, Ashok brought the blanket back up to cover it. His eyes shifted to not look directly at her but seemingly focus on the food instead. "It doesn't go away. My parents seem to think it is the mark of the latent blessing," he murmured, moving to sit on the other side of the food from her.
