He grimaced. "They can join my anti-fan club," he sighed. He didn't take it personally, some people and things just didn't like him. He had pretty much made his peace with that over the years.
Ghede glanced over at Kennedy, his eyebrows raised. "Strange, and yet fortunate, because I did not," he replied. The spirit did not seem angry, it was more like she took almost no notice of him whatsoever. A slight frown crossed his face. Was he perhaps not needed? Did she not want to cross over?
"If you can understand her, perhaps it goes both ways," he theorized. "Could you try asking who she is?"
