He led them off the way the spirit had gone, following a trail only he could see, and trusting it not to steer them wrong. It led them to a small cove, with a fallen tree in the water. It looked like a cross between a tree and a boat, and Ghede didn't know what to make of it. However, as with all things spirit-related, he knew the answer would come if he either waited, or let himself think clearly about the situation at hand. Usually both, if he was being honest.
