"I don't doubt that." She allowed her curiosity about the tome to subside for now, tilting her head at his automated response with a knowing squint of her eyes. "I'm sure you did once, though," she insisted, and her own brow crumpled. She sighed and turned from him to wander and pace the small space of his trailer once again, incapable as she was of standing still even when not agitated as she was now, fingertips sliding over anything that was within reach of her small outstretched hand.
"It's alright. I forgot what it was like once, too." She did not turn back to look at him.
