Issac raised a sharp brow in amusement at the mention of Kennet, a knowing grin pulling at his lips before she kissed him. "I'd have thought you had enough warmth to last you a lifetime," he teased. His hand travelled up her thighs to her hips and his fingers played a light melody over her skin. "Two lifetimes." He made mention to signify how many encounters he felt below the surface in her mind.
Touch had always allowed Issac more access than even the open connections gave. From the moment she grabbed him while they were in the catacombs, as much as he had barely been conscious, the encounters had screamed at him. The images, feelings, and thoughts had been his only true amusement while his nightmares plagued him.
