"You haven't tried it yet, you might find out theres a reason why you do more cooking than me.." He smirked slightly. He was actually a rather good cook, he just didn't do it very often. He had no real need for food, it didn't sustain him like it would a mortal, so preparing food was just a unnecessary task to him. Something he did if he was craving a certain taste or he was entertaining someone.
The look on the woman's face when he mentioned the word 'date' was priceless. That was almost worth not seeing her for awhile. She looked so shocked. And he was sure he looked a little smug for causing that. "You look beautiful in anything Ana, work clothes included." He reassured her. Clearly in full charm mode. His thumb brushing against the woman's knuckles as he guided her to the couch. Sitting down himself and gently pulling her with him.
Her explanation was luckily the one he'd been hoping for. Explaining that he was a monster but not of his own making would be far harder than explaining his own actions that night. "You weren't a idiot, you were drunk.." He told her, slipping a strong arm around the woman's narrow waist as he held her. "Well, unless you think hitting on me is a stupid thing to do..in which case this night's going to get awkward real quick." There was that smirk of his again. Because he knew in his heart of hearts that she didn't. "You know me well enough by now, Ana. You should know that when I take you it wont be because you're compromised."
