He was still taken back, still trying to figure her out. The smell of her was fae, but she was clearly more than just that. His mind quickly moved away from his wishes of spotting Elliot, and focused in on the person before him with ever growing interest.
"Aye. An employee, clearly. And I suspect we are all a long way from home." He suppressed a grin at her coyness, though not surprised after his manners left him.
Once more he watched as she changed appearance, this time turning into a bonnie lass with spectacular red hair. The children oooed and ahhed as they scampered off towards the Gingerbread house, and Duncan extended his hand to meet up with hers. "Duncan." He simply stated as his eyes continued to wander over her new appearance, wondering if it was her true form or another rouse.
"Aye, wee ones are easily turned happy. They have yet to have a care." It had been so long since his own childhood that he could scarcely remember the feeling himself. Only that he didn't wish to be around children too much in both distaste for them and fear that he would hurt them. "Though it seems ye are a bit easy to appease as well." He noted her amusement in changing forms almost matched the amusement of the children that watched her do so.
