"Oi, rude," Alex laughed, poking at Marcus' arm. "I feel like I should call you out, but I'm too tired. If she was here, she'd do it herself."
"Well of course you are, you're Mom," he teased. "Now, granted, the teddy bear also has teeth and claws, but the comparison is still apt." He didn't have the strength or mindfulness to try and pull out of Marcus' grip, he merely followed where the other man led. Which, apparently, was back to the Village and toward his trailer.
His stomach chose that moment to growl loudly. "Oh hey, guess I'm hungry," he said, as though this knowledge had taken him by surprise.
