Catherine held up her hands in silent mock surrender. If Merrick thought he could get away with that, more power to him. He knew his limits better than she did. She followed the goblin, just a few 'steps' behind him though the distance didn't actually matter in psychic form. She just didn't want to get in his way or be a distraction. Nor did she need a distraction from him - it was so difficult to keep her focus, to not get tired. This was far beyond anything she'd ever done before and she could only hope that the price wouldn't be too damaging in the end.
But after a few turns, she flitted forward to be an essentially invisible scout - looking for the Templars and making sure they really were out of the way before gesturing for Merrick.
